travel europe finland helsinki around helsinki

Although it has all the elements of a large city, Helsinki feels small and more intimate than most large cities.
Perhaps this is because of the lack of high rise buildings.
Many points of interest are centrally located near the Senate and Market Squares.
Much of the city still has the austere look of traditional communism.
